360 Degrees of Looking Glass Falls - Hike #1
Dig Local has teamed up with Hike NC with Me to inspire you Dig the Great Outdoors and feature a new hike here each week! Looking Glass Falls is a roadside waterfall and swimming hole with a super easy hike for the whole family. The watering hole is 100% free and great to visit even on chillier days. This hike is 0.3 miles and marked as easy. It's conveniently located in the Pisgah Forest near Brevard, NC.

Traveling with Jericho - Latin Flavors!
Smokin Onion (Parker Shultz) Travels with Jericho to Blue Ridge Hemp for this special Chef Pop Up event featuring Latin flavors. This official Asheville launch event for Traveling with Jericho Cookbook memoir will be on Saturday, March 13 from 2-7. Street eats and signed cookbooks will be available. Limited food, so get there early!
Cheers to a Groovy 10 Years!
Come help the Get Right Band celebrate 10 years as a band at the Salvage Station on Friday, February 19th! Doors open at 4 pm and the show starts at 6:30. The Salvage Station will be joined by very special guest and GRB founding member Chris Pyle. The Get Right Band is a great example of what it means to be and love local. They are focused on following their muses to honest self-expression, to whatever excites them and pushes them into unexplored territory.

Spring is About to be Sprung!
It's that time of year again! Burton Street Peace Gardens is delighted to be able to offer a vast selection of cold-season veggies, herbs, and flowers for your gardens. They'll have over 50 varieties to choose from! All plants are available on a sliding scale - if there's a stick/label in it, then you pay from $3-$5/each...you get to decide. Dig it and get excited about spring!

Pi Day the Right Way!
One of our favorite annual Asheville traditions! Baked Pie Company is usually closed on Sundays, but not THIS Sunday as it's 3.14 = Pi Day! This is when Baked discounts ALL pie slices to only $3.14 and pie flights and whole pies will be $3.14 off normal prices! Both locations will be open from 11 am - 4 pm.

Warmer Weather Means Cold Beer

The weather is finally warming up which means it's time to grab your mask and head to Highland Brewing Company! The Highland Brewing has started their soft reopening phase bringing you cold beers with its latest taproom upgrades. Curbside pickup & food trucks will be available during all taproom hours and the events you love will return starting March 21st.

Jazzy and Rockin' Night at Isis

Head to Isis Music Hall to see Slim Gambill, the lead gutarist for Lady A and friends tear up the stage with some smooth jazz mixed with rock and an all around jamming time. The show is this Saturday at 7 pm and the tickets are only $15. You don’t want to miss this one.

Power in a Pint

This Monday from 11-9 join Hillman Brewing for the Power in a Pint event. Come out for a pint or two to support Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity! $1 for every Hillman beer draft sold this day will be donated specifically to the Women Build House since it is Women's History Month. So head out, grab a pint, and support a great cause!

A Pre-St. Patrick's Celebration

Get in the St. Patrick's Day spirit with The Grey Eagle and We Banjo 3 this Saturday at 5 pm! We Banjo 3 will be live-streaming all the way from Ireland for an epic virtual experience. All four WB3 band members will be together and performing live on stage for the first time since the pandemic shut down concerts exactly one year ago. Celebrate The Grey Eagle and music coming to you live (kind of) again!
