We recently had the Duck Banh Mi Sandwich here and can't stop thinking about it. The Blackbird is an Independent Chef Owned Restaurant using local ingredients to create European and Asian favorites with a Southern twist. We got the chance to sit down with Chef Mike to learn more about The Blackbird’s goal to delight guests with extravagant cooking right in the middle of Downtown. From craft cocktails to an extensive wine list, their menu is full of delicious surprises all over the place.

Graveyard Fields- not scary at all Pt. 2 - Hike #9
Graveyard Fields Trail (to the Upper Falls) is a 2.9 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Balsam Grove, North Carolina that features a beautiful waterfall. This hike is pretty easy going on the way up but gets really steep towards the end, so bring your sneakers! By the parking area, you can find easily accessible bathrooms and a trail map to help guide you as you head up to Upper Falls!
