Sam Knob Trail - Hike #10
Looking to get high this weekend? Sam Knob is a towering mountain just off the Blue Ridge Parkway that tops out at just over 6,000 feet elevation! The Sam Knob Trail is a moderate, 2.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Canton, North Carolina. The hike to the top explores a wildflower-filled grassy meadow that’s easily one of the most scenic in all of North Carolina. After soaking up all of the magnificent views, this hike retraces itself and takes you right back to that grassy meadow! This whole loop is another one of WNC’s beauties you have to go and see for yourself. Join us and Hike NC with Me each week to see your next favorite hike!
