For Those About to Rock

Awesome lineup of rockers combating hunger in Asheville!

Dig Local is proud to be sponsoring this upcoming event for a great cause. Join us for Rock4Hunger featuring COLD, Hoobastank and Filter at Thomas Wolfe on Nov. 5th. A percentage of proceeds will be going to Asheville's Food Connection to help them continue rescuing surplus catering food and connecting it to our neighbors in need. Did you know they've redistributed over 385,000 delicious meals so far? That's something to rock about. These 3 bands from the West and East Coast will be playing post-grunge, hard rock, nu metal, alternative and more. Let's Rock4Hunger!

Fall Waterfalls

See Granny Burrell Falls, Frolictown Falls, and Wilderness Falls via Panthertown Valley on a 3.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Glenville, North Carolina. This hike features a waterfall and the hike itself is rated as moderate. It can get pretty soggy and muddy in certain spots so be sure to wear your boots but get excited for some pretty awesome views of waterfalls!
