Fall Waterfalls
See Granny Burrell Falls, Frolictown Falls, and Wilderness Falls via Panthertown Valley on a 3.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Glenville, North Carolina. This hike features a waterfall and the hike itself is rated as moderate. It can get pretty soggy and muddy in certain spots so be sure to wear your boots but get excited for some pretty awesome views of waterfalls!

Show Your Stuff at Open Mic Night
White Horse’s legendary Open Mic re-starts after a year off for bad behavior (COVID, really). Host Bill Altork will help White Horse in presenting wonderfully talented folks on their way up. The signup sheet is placed on the bar at 6:30 and the first ten to sign in are the performers for the evening. Each gets 15 minutes or three songs. It’s a lot of fun… especially since it’s free!

The Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands is back filling both the concourse and the arena levels of the Harrah's Cherokee Casino Center. Talented makers are showing off a variety of crafts ranging from contemporary to traditional works. From clay, wood, metal, glass, fiber, natural materials, paper, leather, mixed media, and even jewelry, there is a ton to browse. The sale will be today through Sunday.
