 Start at the new downtown Wedge Brewing Co, grab a beer and meander through the lovely Grove Arcade at this first annual Summer Festival! There will be live music, kid-friendly activities (face painting), live demos, food & drink specials, and an amazing raffle with proceeds benefitting the nonprofit Food Connection and their new Mobile Meals program!

Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands this weekend!

In its 75th year, the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands is happening now through Sunday at Asheville’s Harrah's Cherokee Center. For only $10 you can see the most gorgeous art AND talk to the artists. The Maker's Market features a variety of crafts ranging from contemporary to traditional in works of clay, wood, metal, glass, fiber, natural materials, paper, leather, mixed media, and jewelry. We always find the best gifts at this fair.

Join Mandy of Funky Flow Yoga on July 31 at 11:30 am for an all-levels mimosa yoga class at plēb urban winery! This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. There will be mimosas then you can stick around afterward and taste some fabulous wines if you so choose. Also, there are many awesome food options in the River Arts District to check out after your class. You can even catch a movie at the Grail Moviehouse. Make a day of it!
