French Quarter experience in the heart of Downtown Asheville!

With the warming temps also comes the opening of more outdoor experiences! Mayfel's courtyard is now open and they will be bringing more of the bayou to the Blue Ridge with Jazz Fest on April 26th-29th (11am to 3pm each day!). Music will feature the amazing sounds of Lawrence Jamison, Ray Mapp, Raymond Pearson and Michael John. BTW, did you know that Mayfel's offers half-priced Bloody's and Mimosas EVERY Friday?

Spring LEAF Retreat is an intimate, family-friendly gathering of just 1,500 attendees. There’s plenty of space to kick back, relax, play, camp, and connect with global arts, music, culture, and nature. This year’s theme is World Changers — One song, one story, one step at a time! Retreat artists will not only be performing on stage but will lead workshops, discussions, and other opportunities for dives into what it means to be a world-changer through the lens of art and creativity. AdLib celebrates 35 YEARS in Asheville!

Founder/owner Anna Sagel settled in Western North Carolina in the 1980's with the dream of bringing the goods she'd seen on her world travels to her new home in the mountains. With only $1,000 in her pocket and not quite sure how her vision would take shape, Anna liked to say, "I'll Adlib it!" The phrase stuck, and 35 years later Anna still brings her signature sense of adventure and style to Adlib’s eclectic collection. Adlib will celebrate this milestone with an “Anniversoiree” on Wednesday, April 24th, from 5pm - 7pm at their store at 23 Haywood Street. The event will feature live music, small bites, beverages, and the chance to win door prizes.
