Urban Orchard Cider Co. has been open on Haywood Road in West Asheville since 2013, offering visitors and locals an unexpected alternative to the widely popular beer scene. And now, after years of planning, the company has expanded into Asheville's South Slope with a second location. Housed at 24 Buxton Ave., Urban Orchard South Slope is now the company's headquarters and production facility. This has allowed the cider company to double production literally overnight.    .
