What you need to know
The Social Lounge is a rooftop cocktail bar on the second floor of 29 Broadway in downtown Asheville, next door to and run with Strada Italiano. It calls itself Asheville's original craft cocktail bar. The covered rooftop patio looks over Walnut Street, with rollaway glass doors, a louvered roof and overhead heaters, so it stays open in cooler weather, and inside there are oversized leather booths and high-tops. Every table can be reserved for dinner from Strada's full Italian menu, with craft cocktails from the bar. It's open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 9:30 pm, Friday and Saturday from 3 to 10 pm, and Sunday from 3 to 9:30 pm.
Local's Tip
Reserve a rooftop table on Resy for weekend nights. There's no elevator, so expect stairs, and note it's closed on Wednesdays.
