New Morning Gallery is an art and craft gallery at 7 Boston Way in Asheville's historic Biltmore Village, selling American-made crafts since 1972. Its 12,500-square-foot, two-story space is one of the largest craft galleries in the country, filled with handmade furniture, lighting, quilts, tableware, fountains, art glass, ceramics, pottery, jewelry and garden art. Hurricane Helene closed the gallery for a stretch, and it has since reopened. It's open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Give yourself at least an hour, since there are two floors to browse. Go on a weekday morning for a quieter visit, and pair it with lunch in Biltmore Village.
