Jill Rhodes took over in January 2026 and kept the lunch menu of burgers, Reubens, Philly cheesesteaks and hand-cut fries, then added breakfast Wednesday through Saturday and a short list of beer and wine.
Local's Tip
Call ahead at (828) 519-9039 for to-go orders, or grab a picnic table out front on a nice day. Catering orders need at least 24 hours of notice.
What the locals say
Regulars say the cheeseburger is one of the best in WNC: 100% Angus beef cooked on the flat top, not smashed, under several slices of American cheese. The fries are cut by hand every morning, and the house soups stayed on the menu because people kept asking for them.
