Kick it Events
What you need to know
Kick It Events is a race and event management company based at 17 Sylvan Avenue in West Asheville, founded in 2014, that plans and times many of the area's 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, trail races and relays. Its race services cover course design, dual RFID chip timing, registration and marketing, live participant tracking, finish-line setup and custom swag like shirts, finisher medals and banners. The team also runs nonprofit fundraisers, corporate events and weddings, and many of its weekend races raise money for local causes. Upcoming races include the Boo Dash 5K and kids fun run at Asheville Tanger Outlets on Saturday, October 18, which supports the Asheville Police Foundation, and the Veterans Day 5K on November 8.
