Farm Burger on Patton Avenue in downtown Asheville grills burgers built on beef from ranchers and farms in the region. Cofounders Jason Mann, an organic farmer and rancher, and George Frangos, a hospitality veteran, started it in 2008 around a simple idea: a better burger built on a community of ranchers, farmers and chefs.
It's open every day from 11 AM to 9 PM, so it works for a late lunch between downtown shops when other kitchens are between services.
Locals like that you know where the beef comes from, and that it tastes like it. It's an easy downtown lunch or dinner, with vegetarian and gluten-free options so the whole crew can eat.
