Woodfin Coffee Dept. is a neighborhood coffee shop and wine bistro at 126 Elkwood Ave in Woodfin, near Beaver Lake, in the blue building next to the Woodfin Water Department. Lucy and Jared Crown opened it in spring 2026 a short walk from where Lucy grew up. Mornings bring Dynamite Roasting Co. coffee, pastries from Annie's Bakeshop and Lost Mountain Bakery, house-made breakfast, and sandwiches and salads at lunch. From Wednesday to Saturday it stays open until 9 PM with wine by the glass, wine flights, prosecco on tap, cocktails, mocktails, beer and cheese and charcuterie boards.
Local's Tip
Come back on a Wednesday through Saturday night for a wine flight and a cheese board. It closes at 2 PM on Monday and Tuesday.
