Biltmore Winery sits in Antler Hill Village on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, in the building that used to be the estate's dairy. A daytime ticket, Annual Pass or overnight stay gets you a free tasting in the Tasting Room, where wine hosts pour from 20-plus reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines. Next door, the indoor and outdoor Wine Bar on Scholar's Walk pours wine by the glass, bottle or flight with charcuterie and locally made truffles, with live music on the patio. The Wine Shop carries the whole lineup, Luminere wines included.

Go in the afternoon after the house tour, and do the free tasting first so you know what to order at the Wine Bar. Specialty tastings like Red Wine and Chocolate are 21 and up.
