Signs for Hope, the parent nonprofit for the Marketplace, was founded in 2008 by Becky Lloyd of Fairview. She has had 9 Deaf family members across three generations. Becky is a nationally certified RID (Registry of the Deaf) interpreter and she has committed her life to helping Deaf children and their hearing families navigate the challenges they face with language deprivation and childhood trauma. The team at Signs for Hope are all volunteers.
