Pink Dog Creative opens a photography exhibition that asks what an image means when you strip away the name and backstory. No:Body gathers work from Western North Carolina photographers, figurative to abstract, and hangs it without the usual context. The idea is to see what holds up when the story disappears. The show draws on the Theory of Forms, the notion that something essential exists beneath the surface details. Opening night is Halloween, October 31, from 5 to 9 pm. The exhibition runs through November 28 at Pink Dog Creative, 348 Depot Street in the River Arts District.
