Capella on 9 is a rooftop restaurant and bar on top of the AC Hotel at 10 Broadway in downtown Asheville, with views over the city to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Asheville native executive chef Rakim Gaines runs a tapas-style menu built on local ingredients, and the bar mixes hand-crafted cocktails. Breakfast runs daily from 6:30 to 11 AM, and tapas and cocktails start at 3 PM, going until 11 on weeknights and midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Locals bring out-of-town friends here for the view, and it's a regular pick for a sunset drink before dinner downtown.
