Friday Afternoon Farmers Market on Tunnel Road

About 30 local vendors set up Fridays in the Groce United Methodist Church lot at 954 Tunnel Road through November 20. Hours are 3 to 6pm through October and 3 to 5:30pm in November. Shop produce, flowers, meat, cheese, bread, baked goods and kimchi, then build your weekend dinner around it.

East Asheville Tailgate Market sets up Friday afternoons in the parking lot of Groce United Methodist Church at 954 Tunnel Road. About 30 vendors come each week from April through November, including Encompass Farm, Smallholding Farm, Sugar Creek Meat, High Top Bread Co., Lee's One Fortune Farm and Wild Goods Foraging. Hours are 3 to 6pm, closing at 5:30pm in November. Expect produce, flowers, meat, cheese, bread, baked goods, kimchi and locally made foods.
