Static Age Records is a beloved independent record store and live music venue located in Asheville’s bustling North Lexington Avenue corridor. Celebrated for its curated selection of vinyl, tapes, and music memorabilia, the shop specializes in punk, metal, and underground genres while also offering classic rock and wide-ranging finds. Besides music sales, the venue hosts intimate live shows, raves, and community art events, making it a cultural hotspot for local and touring acts. The space combines a record shop, gallery, beer taps, and a dynamic performance stage for a multifaceted experience.

Locals appreciate Static Age’s lively atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and varied events. Many frequent for treasure hunting vinyl, casual music hangouts, and all-ages shows that foster community spirit.
