Leo Johnson plays North Asheville Tailgate Market on Saturday, November 7 at 8:00 AM. Put it on the calendar now so you don't miss it.

North Asheville Tailgate Market is the area's oldest farmers market, running Saturday mornings on the UNC Asheville campus since 1980. More than 70 farmers, bakers and craftspeople sell produce, meat, eggs, cheese, bread, plants, prepared food and crafts, and there is usually live music. The main season runs 8am to noon from April to the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The market currently announces UNC Asheville Lot P28 as its location. A Holiday Bazaar follows from late November through the Saturday before Christmas, and a winter market runs January through March, both 10am to 1pm.

North Asheville families call it the best farmers market in town, and plenty of locals plan their whole Saturday around a stop at the UNCA lot.
