Meet Jane Allred, the store manager of Asheville Hemp Farms! Though the pandemic hit shortly after the local business moved to a new location in downtown Asheville, Asheville Hemp Farms persevered. They were able to pivot quickly to provide quality local immune system boosters and CBD products to the community to assist folks in keeping a peaceful mindset and chill vibe amidst the chaos.
While we've all had to adjust to the "new normal" (whatever that is), our local business owners and managers each have their own story to tell about how they've been affected and what they are doing during these unprecedented times. Dig Local is proud to partner with our friend, Ann Smith, at Leap Frog Tours to interview some of the awesome folks who make Asheville, Asheville.

Virtual Birthday Bash!
Blue Dream Curry Houseis celebrating their 5th trip around the sun! And while they're not yet ready to open their dining room, they are ready to celebrate in the safest, most creative ways they can! They will be serving no-contact takeout from 12 -10 pm this Saturday, as well as live streaming performances throughout the day featuring Kathryn O'Shea, Stevie Lee Combs Music and Amalia Grannis of Moonlight Street Folk.
10% of the profits will be donated to Food Connectionto help ease hunger, reduce food waste, and to continue to help feed our community during this time.

There are only three requirements to be considered:
You or your group must be regionally based in the Asheville area
Your song submissions must be all original compositions
The songs must be "family-friendly" (no profanity or obscenity or violence)
If selected, one or two of your songs will be featured in our Spotify playlist. There may also be opportunities to be featured in our Weekly Scoop email and on our social media platforms!
