A series on how local businesses are adjusting to the COVID-19 crisis

Are you missing live shows as much as we are? Russ Keith of The Grey Eagle checks in with us to let us know just how they are adjusting to social distancing measures to keep concert-goers safe and keep musicians on the stage!
While we've all had to adjust to the "new normal" (whatever that is), our local business owners and managers each have their own story to tell about how they've been affected and what they are doing during these unprecedented times. Dig Local is proud to partner with our friend, Ann Smith, at Leap Frog Tours to interview some of the folks who make Asheville, Asheville.
Celine and Company Catering is back with another week of their pop up restaurant, The Hideaway "On Broadway". The menu for this week features mouth-watering Grilled North Carolina Oysters and Spice-Rubbed Bison Tenderloin Medallions. Don't forget about the fantastic live music on Friday and Saturday nights. You don't want to miss this!

 Food Connection

Last night: Food Connection Gets
Hot Chicken Burritos to Families in Need!

We all know many families have taken a hard hit during COVID-19 and so have many local businesses. Last night Food Connection supported locally-owned Taco Jalisco by purchasing 120 chicken burritos for the families living in Helpmate's shelter, as well as for families in need in two different neighborhoods in Swannanoa. This was made possible by donations from the Community Foundation of WNC and donations from the general public on
Food Connection's website. Supporting local restaurants AND families...
YOU can help keep this going!
