While we've all had to adjust to the "new normal" (whatever that is), our local business owners and managers each have their own story to tell about how they've been affected and what they are doing during these unprecedented times. Dig Local is proud to partner with our friend, Ann Smith, at Leap Frog Tours to interview some of the awesome folks who make Asheville, Asheville.
Tell Our Representatives What THEY Can Do To Save Our Local Businesses!

Help Save Our Local Restaurants
Gathering around a table in your favorite neighborhood restaurant is a type of feeling you just can’t replicate at home. The COVID-19 crisis threatens to close 85% of independently owned restaurants.

Help save your favorite local spot and tell Congress to pass The Restaurants Act, visit SaveRestaurants.com for more information.

Help Save Our Local Stages
There’s no takeout or curbside version of concerts. Our local venues need the Save Our Stages Act to ensure they’ll still be around to reopen when live shows can return.

Do you miss seeing your favorite bands and artists live? Do you want to visit your favorite venues again when the world goes back to some sense of normalcy? The Grey Eagle, Asheville Music Hall, Isis, Salvage Station, Ambrose West, White Horse Black Mntn., The Orange Peel, Pisgah Brewing, and all of your other favorites need your help to do just that! The Save Our Stages Act is close to being included in the legislation being finalized this week in the US Senate. Your voice during this final stretch is CRITICAL!

Join Dig Local by visiting www.saveourstages.com and enter your information to generate a letter to these Senators and your other state reps, based on your Zip code. This tells them you want them to save Asheville's live music and independent venues. This is not a petition, but generates a unique email letter from you. Take time to do this now so we can all get together and jam out in the future like we did in the good ol' days.
