Simply Delicious on Sardis Road #digAVL Video

Sandhill Kitchen opened in January 2017 as a long-time dream of Chef/Owner Jamie Wade. We got the chance to learn more about Jamie's passion for fresh food flowing from living and cooking in the American South and Southwest. She believes that great food starts with fresh ingredients and creative combinations. From the best chicken sammy to the best burger in town, all served through a drive-thru!

AVL Funk Chef Dance Off

Watch these eight local kitchens show off their dance moves in celebration of Stopping Food Waste and Easing Hunger. YOU decide on the winner! This is a fundraiser for Food Connection who is celebrating 150 metric tons of fresh food that they've diverted from our landfill to feed our neighbors in need. (300,000 meals!) Props to local musician Ryan RnB Barber for use of AVL Funk!  Voting closes on April 27 and Best Dancer announced on the 28th!

Let there be Brunch!

Weekends are for brunch. We all know that. Bargello does brunch in their own Mediteranian style that you can enjoy with a mimosa on their beautiful patio (great for people-watching). Start off with fresh Avocado Toast or something sweeter with their Doughnut Holes tossed in an orange glaze and topped with toasted almonds. They even have truffle fries to go with your Banana Foster brioche french toast! Grab a speciality cocktail or keep it classic with a house Bloody Mary on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-3pm.
