Blue Ridge Pride Week! Dig Local is the Official App
Pride week is coming up September 24th - 30th. This year there will be four amazing events, along with over 50 businesses who are partnering in support by offering welcoming spaces and promotions for the community. On Saturday, September 30th, the Twelfth Annual Blue Ridge Pride Festival kicks off with a procession through the city of Asheville. The gathering starts at 10am at 16 South French Broad Ave. The procession will begin at 10:30. Whether you are a business, a group, a congregation, community, family, solo or a pack of friends — you are welcome to join this half-mile journey. Pre-register here for spot assignments!

Wild Women Witches and Warlocks Float
Save the Date - October 28th, 7:30pm at Hominy Creek Park for the semi-unofficial Witches and Warlocks Full Moon float down the French Broad River! Gather just after sunset to paddle a few miles together in your spooky costume. Bring your own watercraft and a witchy hat! A $5 to $20 donation is requested for the Wild Woman Scholarship Fund and to cover insurance. Stickers, some witch hats, and glow sticks provided.

AVL’s largest curated, pop-up market - Sunday, Sept 24th

Get ready for art, antiques, vintage, hand-made and the unexpected with over 100 vendors. The Uncommon Market is back this Sunday at Foundy Street with something for everyone from 10am to 4pm. Furry friends are welcome. See y'all there!

British Car Fans unite! 

Head to Mills River Brewing on Saturday for the 23rd annual Autumn in the Mountains British and European Automobile and Motorcycle Show! Featuring the 100th anniversary of MG and many more. There will be food, drinks, live music, delicious beer and plenty of cars! (Sept. 23rd 9:00am - 3:30pm)

Rebuild Jones Park - volunteers needed!

October 4- 8 Skilled and unskilled workers needed! This community park will be named the Candice Pickens Memorial Park in honor of Candice. Over 500 volunteers have already signed up but more are needed to help with childcare, building assistance, serving food, art and special features.

76th Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands

Has it been awhile since you've gone to the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands? The talent is awe-inspiring! Last year we picked up a beautiful set of nesting bowls. There's something for everyone including contemporary to traditional in works of clay, wood, metal, glass, fiber, natural materials, paper, leather, mixed media, and jewelry. Happening at Harrah's Cherokee Center on October 19th-22nd. (Children under 12 get in Free!)
