BlackBird Frame & Art is a custom frame shop at 365 Merrimon Avenue, about three-quarters of a mile north of downtown Asheville. Its PPFA-certified framers frame art, prints, concert posters, photos, diplomas, textiles, jerseys and guitars in styles from Lucite and welded steel to Arts and Crafts and hand-carved gilded frames.

Locals bring concert posters and family heirlooms here, and regulars trust the framers with odd-shaped pieces.
