The Blue Ridge Orchestra is Asheville's all-volunteer community orchestra, playing classical and film music concerts across Western North Carolina for 25 years under music director Dr. Emily Mariko Eng.

Players range from retired professionals to dedicated amateurs, and shows land in school auditoriums and campus halls like UNC Asheville's Highsmith Student Union in North Asheville. Family concerts add crafts for kids 12 and under.
