AVL Ride, also known as Asheville Taxi, is a locally owned taxi and car service covering the whole Asheville area 24/7 since 2014. Pick a sedan, a black car sedan, an XL minivan or SUV that seats six, or a 15-passenger van for a wedding or brewery tour. It's one of the only taxi companies allowed to pick up and drop off right at Asheville Regional Airport, and it does private rides to Charlotte, Greenville-Spartanburg and other regional airports too. Book airport pickups ahead of time in the app. A sedan from the airport to downtown runs about $50, and the XL is about $70 if you've got a group or a pile of bags.
