Here are a few things I that I really love about AVL.

I suck at bowling but ALWAYS have fun at Skylanes. The vibe there is a big old school, a bit new school. They've got great food and beverage options, too. 

Not sure which of the two locations I dig more. This is such a cool environment to meet up with a friend or two and sip on a huge selection of tea. The menu at the West location is full of great vegetarian options. 

All of the therapists at Ebb and Flow are highly trained and professional. I love their tea room post massage.

Fire. That's my favorite flavor with cayenne pepper and ginger. 

Range makes it not so bad if you get sick. They are super efficient with high tech systems that make wait times super short.

Zen's Green Restorative Facial is awesome using their most ‘green’ products–Green Tea, green papaya, green enzyme, green Italian herbs, green clay, green rosemary and basil, and green growth factor.

Hands down my most favorite nonprofit in Asheville. There's a reason. :)

The Kale Pizza. It may not sound great if you're not a kale fan, but trust me. It's delicious!

I love stopping into the Folk Art Center after doing part of the Mountain to Sea trail and looking at all of the great art. It's a nice place to buy gifts on on the weekends you're likely to see art demos.

Favorite Random AVL things

Sky Lanes has been a part of West Asheville since 1963. Recently under new ownership, Sky Lanes has been upgraded and renovated, including a new bar and grill with more local beers on tap. However, it still maintains its retro West Asheville vibe!

Locals love Sky Lanes! Not only is it a fun and affordable place to bowl, it's great for parties for kids and adults alike. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back.
