Have you tried a molcajete from Salsas?

The Scoop

A molcajete is a bowl, similar to a mortar and pestle, and used in Mexico for thousands of years. Traditionally made from stone or volcanic rock, the bowl stands on three legs and comes with a matching tapered instrument designed to hold and grind. At Salsas, though, we serve a molcajete filled with delicious ingredients, like blackened steak, shrimp, chicken, veggies, plantains, and mole sauce or coffee-rubbed roasted pork. If you haven't tried at dinner, you should!
