Learn to make a Hearth Basket with Susan Taylor

$95 for the full-day class.
Traditionally, a Hearth Basket was used to carry firewood or kindling and sits on or near the hearth. It also makes an ideal carrier for a 9×13 casserole or even two pies. Woven in natural reed with a sturdy oak handle. The finished basket measures about 22” long 11” wide and 15” tall including the handle.
Use of basket weaving tools will be provided.
No experience is needed, suitable for the adult beginner.
There will be a 30-minute break for lunch – we suggest bringing your own, but we can recommend local places that offer delivery/pickup upon request.
