Asheville Autumn in a cup! Dairy and vegan Apple Butter Ice Cream!  As with most of our small batch releases this will be on the menu while supplies last. To make the apple butter for this aromatic flavor we start with local apples from Holt Orchards in Flat Rock then slow-cook them at The Creamery with all your favorite seasonal spices. Once the butter is complete we blend and swirl it into a 16% butterfat dairy and completely from-scratch non-dairy pepita milk base. Perfect before or after jumping in a pile of leaves or visiting your favorite scenic view on the Blue Ridge Parkway :)

The Hop Ice Cream has been an Asheville institution since 1978, with imaginative and locally-influenced flavors. Owners Ashley and Greg Garrison opened their first downtown location at S&W Market. The menu features homemade dairy and vegan ice creams, classic milkshakes, sundaes, desserts, and made-from-scratch waffle cones. The Hop’s flagship flavors (Salted Caramel, Vanilla Bean, and Chocolate) will be offered alongside a variety of staples and rotates flavors — often featuring local ingredients and collaborations with Asheville businesses.
