These waffles are just another way to honor and uplift Asian culture and encourage community within our little bubble tea shop.These delectable, sweet and eggy treat are also known as "gai daan jai" (雞蛋仔) in Cantonese. This is a nostalgic nod to the streets of Hong Kong, where it originated as a popular street snack in the 1950s. The official release for this exciting new offering is Friday, December 15th!

The Hop Ice Cream has been an Asheville institution since 1978, with imaginative and locally-influenced flavors. Owners Ashley and Greg Garrison opened their first downtown location at S&W Market. The menu features homemade dairy and vegan ice creams, classic milkshakes, sundaes, desserts, and made-from-scratch waffle cones. The Hop’s flagship flavors (Salted Caramel, Vanilla Bean, and Chocolate) will be offered alongside a variety of staples and rotates flavors — often featuring local ingredients and collaborations with Asheville businesses.
