Join us The Hop Ice Cream (and Pop Bubble Tea) for a meet & greet and book signing with Barbie Angell, author of the children's book, Roasting Questions: Poems & Drawings.
The event is free and open to the public. Drop in between 2 and 4 PM. Copies of Roasting Questions and delicious ice cream and bubble tea will be available for purchase on-site!
Barbie Angell is a writer, actor, emcee, upcycle designer, and artist in Asheville, NC. Her most recent work was writing Act I of Montford Park Players' Grimm's Fairy Tales, emceeing Reproductive Rights events, and writing articles for The Tribune Papers.

The Hop Ice Cream has been an Asheville institution since 1978, with imaginative and locally-influenced flavors. Owners Ashley and Greg Garrison opened their first downtown location at S&W Market. The menu features homemade dairy and vegan ice creams, classic milkshakes, sundaes, desserts, and made-from-scratch waffle cones. The Hop’s flagship flavors (Salted Caramel, Vanilla Bean, and Chocolate) will be offered alongside a variety of staples and rotates flavors — often featuring local ingredients and collaborations with Asheville businesses.
