The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride After Party

On Sunday, May 19th, we’re hosting the Beer City Blazer and dozens of local cyclists for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride After Party. We’ll be the final stop of this this leisurely bike starting at about 12:30pm. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a global fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer, men’s health and suicide prevention. The purpose of the ride, similar to any charity runs or polar plunges, involve supporters donating money on behalf of participating riders. To add to the fun, riders for the event are encouraged to dress in dapper wares like suits and ties. Funds raised by The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride are invested into prostate cancer and men’s mental health initiatives around the world through their official charity partner, Movember. Since it’s (local) inception, the Asheville chapter has raised over $12,000 for these causes through bike ride fundraisers.
