Join us at The Grey Eagle as we celebrate the life of a truly extraordinary person and long time contributor to Asheville's creative scene, Marsellus Fariss. Mars was one of the most compassionate and hardest working people in addition to being one of the best and most knowledgeable audio engineers AND guitar players on Earth. He was a friend to everyone he crossed paths with and was a shining example of selflessness, always putting others' needs ahead of his own. Taken from us far too soon, our hearts go out endlessly to Mars' family and friends as we come together to honor his life.
Professionally, Mars was the production manager and primary FOH engineer at The Grey Eagle for nearly a decade helping shape the venue into what it is today. He was also a world class musician beloved by everyone who had the good fortunate of sharing a stage or trading a solo with him. Mars' contributions to Asheville and The Grey Eagle will be felt forever.
