Celebrate the Native Peoples of WNC! Sept. 22

Mark your calendar for The Ani & Wanei Culture Fest at Hickory Nut Gap Farm and experience a vibrant celebration of Cherokee and Appalachian culture.This is a FREE family-friendly event hosted by the Noquisi Initiative. It will be a full day filled with entertainment, live music, story-telling, traditional dance, educational talks, vendors and cultural exhibits. Native Nummies Food Truck will be serving frybread tacos and MerTail Mocktails' organic, wildcrafted NA beverages inspired by Appalachian folk medicine. September 22 from noon to 4pm.

Established in 1916, the farm is open year-round. We offer 100% grassfed beef, pasture raised pork & poultry, lunch, brunch, seasonal events, in-house butchery, gifts, baby animals, group tours, venue rentals, concerts, catering, and family fun.
