Beer & Hymns brings people together to raise a glass and a voice while raising funds for organizations that change the world. It doesn’t matter what your spiritual beliefs are, or whether you ascribe to no spiritual beliefs. This is not a church service. All are welcome to come and sing with us. Our sponsor is Black Mountain Presbyterian Church featuring Aaron Price. The beneficiary is Black Mountain Center for the Arts where the mission is to bring arts to the people and people to the arts by providing a center for celebrating the arts and a forum for stimulating artistic endeavor. They discover ways to honor our the unique heritage of the Swannanoa Valley while introducing community members to art forms that invite them to probe deeply into the values of dignity, respect, and the joy the arts bring to their lives.
