How to Join the Guild: Application Workshop

Our Guild application workshops take you step-by-step through the process. In-person workshops are held at the Folk Art Center in Asheville three times a year; Zoom workshops are held twice a year. After the workshops, participants have the option of requesting someone to assist with and review their Guild application or a Guild member mentor in their craft medium.

Our organization started in the Asheville region 92 years ago. As the oldest guild in the country, we now represent and sell the work of 900 regional artists.

Escape the hustle of downtown and take a drive up the Parkway to visit the Folk Art Center - there's plenty of parking, a bookstore, a craft shop, two exhibits, a museum, a library, and a hiking trail.
