Hurricane Helene devastated Asheville Tea Company, leaving them without their production facility, inventory, and equipment. As they work to rebuild, we are coming together to show support in the best way we know how - with delicious, locally inspired treats both in store and at an event in West Asheville! On Friday, March 28th The Hop Ice Cream & Pop Bubble Tea will each be releasing collaborations using Asheville Tea Company Asheville Grey (their signature Earl Grey tea):
🍦 Mountain Fog Shortbread Cookie Ice Cream – A dreamy base of Asheville Grey and Spicewalla cardamom mixed with crumbles of Hop-made lemon thyme shortbread cookie crumbles. Available at all The Hop locations through April!
🧋 Asheville Grey Milk Tea – A special tea-based drink, available at Pop Bubble Tea from March 28 – April 3.

The Hop Ice Cream has been an Asheville institution since 1978, with imaginative and locally-influenced flavors. Owners Ashley and Greg Garrison opened their first downtown location at S&W Market. The menu features homemade dairy and vegan ice creams, classic milkshakes, sundaes, desserts, and made-from-scratch waffle cones. The Hop’s flagship flavors (Salted Caramel, Vanilla Bean, and Chocolate) will be offered alongside a variety of staples and rotates flavors — often featuring local ingredients and collaborations with Asheville businesses.
