Restaurant Crusco now open

The Scoop

Crusco, which opened July 30 at 348 Depot Street, promises thoughtful cooking, honest hospitality, and a menu that’s guided by the seasons—driven by ingredients that inspire and shaped by relationships with local growers and producers. Crusco’s four co-owners and operators—Alan Clark (front of house, beverage), Alexander Harris (kitchen), Kat Kearney (operations) and Lauren Macellaro (kitchen)—came together while working at the much-loved Cucina 24 downtown, and they are thrilled to be making a new home for themselves on Depot Street. Taking over the space formerly occupied by Vivian restaurant, they are excited to be breathing new life into this corner of the River Arts District, as the neighborhood enters a new, revitalized post-storm era. Hours are Wednesday–Sunday, 5:00–9:00 pm with weekend lunch service coming soon.
