Join us as we come together to lift up one of our own — Bethany Byars, a 31-year-old single mother of two whose strength and compassion have touched so many lives. Just days after our community endured Hurricane Helene, Bethany received life-changing news: at only 30 years old, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. After bravely completing a round of chemo and radiation this past winter, she was back to work and doing great — but in July, Bethany learned that her cancer had returned and spread to her lymph nodes. Though her doctors have shared that her cancer is no longer curable, Bethany continues to fight with incredible courage, faith, and grace. She’s currently nearing the end of another round of chemo and will soon begin more radiation, all while trying to work enough to maintain her insurance and care for her two beautiful children. 💛 Now, it’s our turn to pour back into her — the way she has always poured into others. Join us for a day of fun, food, and festivities as we raise funds and, more importantly, raise Bethany’s spirits. Every smile, every song, every hug will remind her and her family that they are not alone in this fight.
