The Filthy Heathens

The Scoop

The Filthy Heathens The Filthy Heathens came together during the chaos of the pandemic, sparked by the chemistry between Bronson Hetzer, Ryan Palcic, and “Captain” Craig Bishop. Things got serious fast with the addition of guitarists Cody Doench and Dawson Stepp. With five members locked in, the band took off. From Southern grit to alt-edge, classic country to hard rock, their sound defies easy classification. It's rich, raw, and rooted in something deeper than genre. This is music you can’t quite label — and that’s the point. Inspired by legends like Skynyrd and Waylon, with a nod to modern acts like Blackberry Smoke and The Steel Woods, their songs are raw, road-tested, and built to be felt.Known for high-octane live shows and a growing regional fanbase, The Filthy Heathens are hitting stages across the country with a packed tour schedule and festival season. One gig at a time, they’re building something real — and it’s catching on. Live, The Filthy Heathens go full-throttle — and so do their crowds. They love to put on a show and bring a room to life.
