Travis, Magner & Lane is a trio of heavy hitters from across the jam and rock world: Michael Travis (The String Cheese Incident, EOTO), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), and Jay Lane (Dead & Company, Primus). Together they operate entirely in improvised composition — no setlist, no predetermined structure. The music emerges from the interplay between Travis's rhythmic invention, Magner's synth-driven trance-fusion instincts, and Lane's elastic pocket shaped by decades of Dead, Primus, and beyond.

These three have decades of individual stage experience, and the configuration hasn't been overplayed — shows are genuinely unpredictable and distinct from the work any of them does in their main projects. That's the appeal: it's three respected veterans creating something that doesn't exist anywhere else.
