Smoakland is Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays, a Bay Area dubstep duo who formed in 2018 out of a shared obsession with old-school West Coast bass music. They make grimy, heavy dubstep that tips its hat to the 2010s era of the genre while keeping the production sharp and current. Their 2025 album *Heavy Hitterz* on Deadbeats earned strong reviews for its unfiltered, boxing-themed batch of bass bangers — eight tracks built entirely around impact. They've played Electric Forest, Red Rocks with Mersiv, and have a growing catalog of collaborations with artists like Big Gigantic.

Special guests are TBA, but Smoakland typically brings in artists from their extended network of West Coast and bass-circuit collaborators. Expect a floor-first set built around sub frequencies and relentless, rhythmic drops.
