Bearly Dead is a Boston-based quintet that has been running a full Grateful Dead concert experience since 2015, when they launched a Wednesday night residency at Church of Boston that ran for five years and earned multiple Boston Music Awards nominations. They've expanded nationally since 2022, building a catalog of 250+ Dead songs and treating each show as a unique event — with genuine improvisation, extended jams, and occasional deep cuts alongside the familiar material. Notable sit-ins have included Mike Campbell of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Steve Molitz of Particle/Phil Lesh & Friends.

Special guests are TBA, keeping the possibility open for the kind of surprise appearances that have defined Bearly Dead shows at their best. This is a full concert-style Grateful Dead experience — not a bar cover band running through "Touch of Grey."
