Undertow is a Southeast-touring Tool tribute built from veteran members of Raleigh's acclaimed Third Eye project. With over six decades of collective professional performance experience, the band plays Tool's catalog note-for-note — complex polyrhythms, cavernous tunings, and all the surgical precision that makes Tool music so demanding to replicate. They cover the full catalog, from *Undertow* through *Fear Inoculum*, and bring a theatrical visual component that matches the scale of the music. Dobarae opens with a unique angle on the evening — a set built around Tool remixes, A Perfect Circle edits, and Puscifer-adjacent material, weaving those influences through a modern downtempo and dub lens. Dobarae is an Asheville-based multi-instrumentalist and throat singer, and the contrast between his set and Undertow's live recreation creates an interesting back-to-back for fans of Tool's broader aesthetic.
