Guitarist and bandleader Nicholas Edward Williams brings his New Quintet to Leveller Brewing Co. on Friday, June 5th, for what he's calling the group's first show in Weaverville. The set begins at 7 PM. Williams draws on jazz, bluegrass, and Appalachian traditions — music that moves fluidly between styles with a clear sense of where it's going.

The New Quintet format showcases Williams in a collaborative context, giving his compositions more room to breathe than his solo guitar work. It promises to be an intimate evening in a space known for exactly this kind of gathering.
