Band of Horses and Dinosaur Jr. share the stage for a rare double-headliner evening at Hellbender, Asheville's new outdoor amphitheater along the Swannanoa River. It's an all-ages show under open skies at the 6,000-capacity venue at 151 Thompson Street. Band of Horses are beloved for their sweeping, atmospheric rock — anthems that hit differently outdoors. Dinosaur Jr. bring their signature fuzz-heavy indie rock and J Mascis's molten guitar work to the same night. Two legacy acts, one unforgettable show. Doors open at 5:30 pm, show begins at 7 pm. All ages welcome. Tickets available online and at The Orange Peel box office at 101 Biltmore Avenue.
