Sit a Spell Traditional Music Jam at Ginger's Revenge

Every Friday from 6 to 8 PM, Ginger's Revenge hosts Sit a Spell — a traditional music jam session in partnership with Warren Wilson College. The format rotates weekly between bluegrass, old-time string band, old-time songs, and Celtic traditions.

Musicians of all levels bring fiddles, banjos, guitars, and mandolins to pick through tunes in a circle on the brewery's patio or inside the taproom. Warren Wilson students and faculty lead the sessions, but anyone with an instrument and a willingness to play is welcome.

Ginger’s Revenge is Asheville’s original craft ginger beer brewery and tasting room, located at 829 Riverside Drive. The Riverside taproom features eight ginger beers on tap, draft cocktails, snacks, occasional food trucks, local guest beers, non-alcoholic options, and regular live music sessions. The space is welcoming, wheelchair accessible, and ideal for casual hangouts or gatherings with friends.
